ASME Workshop

Hydraulic Pump Design, Simulation and Optimization

10, 17 January 2024

ASME and CFturbo are thrilled to announce their first joint online course about hydraulic design, simulation, and optimization. This course will teach fundamental design methodology for axial, mixed-flow, and centrifugal pumps.

In four two-hour lectures, we will provide the basic knowledge of hydraulic design and its application in modern conceptual design software. Every attendee will receive a certificate and a CFturbo license valid for two months for practicing.

It's a live workshop only without recording.
A follow-up meeting for general Q&A is planned for mid of July.

Price: $175   Register

Presenters

All lecturers have graduated in Mechanical Engineering and received their master’s or Ph.D. degrees from the University of Dresden in Germany, focusing on Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Turbomachinery.

Dr. Gero Kreuzfeld
After working for VSX on pump selection software, Gero has dedicated himself to Turbomachinery design for over 20 years. He was one of the co-founders of CFturbo GmbH in 2008, and since then, he has been a Managing Director of the company, mainly overseeing the entire software product development.

Ralph-Peter Mueller
started as a development engineer at General Motors before he founded CFDnetwork in 1993, a CFD consulting firm. Then he became a co-founder of CFturbo GmbH in 2008, and since 2017 he has been the President of CFturbo, Inc. in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Oliver Velde
held several positions in the German industry before joining CFturbo GmbH in 2008, and he is now the company's Senior Scientist.

Sascha Henoch
studied Mechanical Engineering, focusing on CFD Modeling for internal combustion engines. He has been working at CFturbo GmbH for over five years, primarily focusing on CFD workflow automation and optimization methods.
