Performance Analysis of a Centrifugal Pump Operating as Turbine

The usage of conventional turbines for micro-hydro projects can be very costly. When the direction of flow in a pump is reversed, it can operate as turbine. This research presents CFD based performance predictions of a pump used as turbine.
